Terms of service

Please ensure you fully read the following Terms & Conditions before hiring. By renting from Rentals with Steph, you agree to all policies outlined below.

1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

Full payment is required before any garment is collected or shipped.
We accept bank transfer and other approved payment methods.

Each garment requires a bond, which will be refunded once the item is returned in original condition.

If a garment is returned damaged, cleaning or repair costs will be deducted from the bond.

Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.

2. RENTAL PERIOD & RETURNS

All garments must be returned on time to avoid late fees.

Rental return guidelines:

  • Monday–Wednesday hires must be returned by Thursday night
  • Thursday hires must be returned by Sunday morning
  • Friday–Sunday hires must be returned by Tuesday night

Late returns may incur additional fees.

3. SHIPPING POLICY

We ship Australia-wide via express shipping (1–3 business days).

Shipping is $30, which includes:

  • Delivery to you
  • A return express postage bag

Return requirements:

  • Monday–Thursday shipped garments must be posted back the day after wear
  • Friday–Sunday (weekend) hires must be posted back Monday morning

Customers are responsible for ensuring they select the correct delivery timing.

Rentals with Steph is not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post.

No refunds will be given for:

  • Late deliveries
  • Incorrect addresses
  • Shipping delays

4. PICK UPS & TRY-ONS

Pick-ups are available in the Bendigo region.

All garments must be returned to the same location.

Try-ons are available, however garments MUST be returned the following day.

5. GARMENT CARE & RESPONSIBILITY

All garments must be handled with care.

DO NOT:

  • Wear fake tan before or during use
  • Alter or modify the garment
  • Cut tags
  • Attempt to clean or wash the garment

Damage includes (but is not limited to):

  • Stains
  • Tears
  • Broken zips
  • Missing embellishments

If a garment is damaged:

You must contact us immediately.
Repair or cleaning costs will be deducted from your bond.
If the garment is beyond repair, full RRP may be charged.

Please be mindful of items that can easily damage garments such as:

  • Fake tan
  • Makeup
  • Jewellery
  • Food & drinks

6. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

No refunds will be issued once payment has been made.

This applies regardless of:

  • Event cancellation
  • Change of mind

This policy exists due to limited garment availability.

7. LIABILITY

Rentals with Steph is not responsible for:

  • Shipping delays
  • Incorrect size selection
  • Missed events due to delivery timing

Once a garment is in your possession, you are fully responsible for it until it is returned.

8. AGREEMENT

By renting from Rentals with Steph, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions.
